Clive Stevens
Former Chairman Clive has been a member of the station since 1990. He has been involved in many aspects of its operation since then, including Secretary, Fundraising Officer, Outside Event Coordinator and Recruitment & Training Officer. Over the years he has presented request shows for Ashford Hospital & Whitegates Care Home, a magazine / interview style programme called Anything Goes and more recently specialist music shows such as Digging Up The 70s and Kaliveascope, which showcased various forms of mostly instrumental music from the likes of Ludovico Einaudi, Jean Michel Jarre, David Arkenstone & Vangelis. His passion for local football, especially Staines Town, has meant that Clive has produced, presented, reported and commentated on both of the Radio Wey Sportscene programmes for well over 20 years . He also plays in local table tennis and bowls leagues, and alongside Pat Stovell and Ben O'Connor, started up in Staines a walking football session in association with the Middlesex FA and Radio Wey in 2014.
