Colin Spencer

Colin has been presenting on Radio Wey since the Spring of 2003... originally from Leicestershire, he put deeper roots down in the area after his two children were born at St Peter’s. With his broad tastes and a personal collection built over 30 years, any spare time that can be devoted to enjoying music is time well spent as far as Colin is concerned! His favourite record label is Mute Records because "they continually unearth and support engaging artists who are typically allowed to develop and share awesome music over many years." Although Radio Wey is Colin's first foray into radio broadcasting, he was a student journalist while at school and university reviewing music, bands and gigs and he has also had his own studio and record label, compiled albums, organised music syncs and worked with artists from several genres who have enjoyed success across the world. He is always happy to have you request something during his programme - how about a song for yourself or maybe a dedication for someone else?
