STAY HEALTHY

As the Government have advised to avoid mass gatherings and maintain social distancing, many events are being cancelled and postponed.

Radio Wey is therefore suspending this Health Events page for the time being.

Our message is simple: Take sensible precautions; wash hands frequently; STAY HEALTHY

  • comfortable clothes and footwear
  • a spare tube for the size to fit your bike
  • a puncture repair outfit, including tyre levers and a pump is also recommended

Please visit https://www.spelthorne.gov.uk/cyclingforhealth for more details or contact Leisure Services on leisure@spelthorne.gov.uk or on 01784 446433.

Please bring any medication you may need with you (eg inhalers) and let us know if there are any changes to your health. Wear comfortable shoes with good grip and support and loose fitting clothing, as this will allow you to move freely. Long trousers are recommended in case of nettles/thistles. Bring waterproof clothing in case of rain. Please  note our walks are for adults only. If there is a café or pub nearby, leaders and walkers often stop for a drink and a chat after the walk.
