Sportscene is grateful to those below who provide additional reporting on our local football matches on both our Friday and Saturday Sportscene programmes.
John Moore
John has been Woking’s Press Officer since 2009. He also summarises regularly for BBC Surrey and has been a Woking supporter for more years than he cares to remember! He says his best day out following the Cards was the epic trip to the Hawthorns in 1991, when they beat West Brom 4-2 in FA Cup 3rd Round.
Peter Moore
Peter has been involved in the wonderful world of sport for more years than he can remember.
He started off helping out on various hospital radio stations many years ago before joining a selection of community based radio stations in London and Essex.
During this time he was asked if he would be interested in doing cricket commentary for BBC Essex. Since that time Peter has done a lot of commentaries on cricket, football, rugby and a selection of other sports.
He pops up on a regular basis on Radio Wey Sport covering Woking FC. Harlequins. Guildford Flames. Surrey Scorchers. Surrey Storm.
